Christmas 2010

Christmas was really fun this year. Jaxson really got into it as you will see in the videos in this post.

We celebrated with the Carver Family on the weekend of December 12th. Every other weekend was booked with something and we were all going to be with our in-laws this year on Christmas Day. I will explain the pictures from left to right. Connor received a green beanie from Grandma and liked it at first but then wanted nothing to do with it. Sterling wanted to give my parents a Thank You for letting us live with you present from us. SO we purchased them a 40' Flat Screen TV for the Living Room and a stand for it to sit on. Jaxson loves Uncle Jono! Grandma and Grandpa (Ga-Ga and Pa-Pa) gave Jaxson a Radio Flyer Tricycle. Needless to say he LOVES it! Daddy and Jaxson goofing off. Jaxson opening presents! Aunti Danielle reading a book to both boys. Ga-Ga with her Grandsons!!!

On Christmas morning just Sterling, Jaxson and I opened up presents. Jaxson got a cool block set from Great Grandma and Grandpa Mendenhall. (Thank you Dean and Jackie!) It is really cool and Jaxson loves it. Santa gave him a book, Elmo movies, a puzzle and a helmet to go with his new Trike! Sterling gave me Rollerblades and my mother-in-law found a jogger stroller at a garage sale recently so after we opened up presents we went for a stroll around the RSM Lake. We saw lots of "puppies"! (Jaxson calls all dogs puppies.)

Every year my family hangs all the Christmas card we get on the hallway door. Jaxson has discovered his favorites. The ones he pulls off are the Gundersons and the Mendenhalls. The cards are thrashed but he carries them around the house and loves to point them out.

 On Christmas Day after Jaxson woke up from his nap we headed over the Mendenhalls. When we pulled up Connie, Brian and the puppies were heading out for a walk so we joined them. Jaxson loves to hold the leashes. The dogs literally pull him down the street. We walked down to the creek and had a great time. After we gathered all together Jaxson was Santa's little helper and handed out all the presents to everyone. Jaxson got new bath toys, pj's, shoes from Uncle Jordan that were covered in Yo Gabba Gabba and a Leap Frog car toy. Thank you so much Connie and Brian for your generosity and Love.
