We are Home!

We are so excited that we are finally home. We arrived home Tuesday (4-14) around 1:30pm. Sterling was so excited to upgrade to our "Wireless" baby! In the NICU he was always attached to some monitor. The nurses were amazing! They answered any questions we had and were totally helpful with learning how to take care of a newborn.

His blood culture tests finally came back neagtive and he passed his hearing test so we were able to take him home. He also tested normal for jaundice. His clavical bone is not bothering him much. We are careful when we hold him, pick him up and dress him but he doesn't seem to notice it. His curcumsision went well. It bothers him a little but it should be fairly healed by friday.

In the NICU we couldn't take him very far so we could only hold him and take naps with him. Stterling loved putting him on his chest and passing out! Such a great Dad!

Hi Mom and Dad!

This is us on the curb outside the hospital before Dad went to get the car.

The NICU made us take him out of the hospital in a wagon. He loved his first wagon ride.

Thank you to everyone for their thoughts and prayers. Our son is simply perfect and doing really well at home. He feeds so well but I am still waiting for my milk to officially come in. He is pooping, eating, crying and just being amazing. He rarely cries and is very mellow. Thank goodness.
