April was a fun month because Jaxson turned 5 and we celebrated both kids birthdays with Great Grandma and Grandpa Mendenhall.

We were lucky enough to spend a day at Disneyland all together. It was hot and kinda crowded but we had a blast!

In preschool on your birthday you get to bring in something to show your friends, usually it's your favorite toy. This year I asked Jaxson's teacher if we could bring in our pet snake, Killer, and she thought it was a great idea! All of Jaxson's friends got to pet her gently.

My calling at church is still public affairs. For our Mormon Helping Hands service project this year we packaged meals to feed over 100,000 people. We joined forces with Stop Hunger Now and had a very successful day! Here is the story...
